Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TravelNurse Rate. By using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
- TravelNurse Rate is a planning tool that estimates take-home pay from travel-nursing contracts. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
- Outputs are estimates based on the data you enter and publicly available tax tables. We do not guarantee accuracy. Actual results will vary.
2. Subscriptions and billing
- The free tier is provided "as is" with the feature limits described in the app.
- The Pro tier is offered on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). Pricing is shown at checkout in U.S. dollars and may change with notice.
- You may cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.
3. Your account and data
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You retain ownership of the contract and profile data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data to provide the service.
- Free-tier data is stored only on your device and may be lost if you clear your browser storage. We are not responsible for such loss.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, scrape it programmatically, or use it to violate any law.
- Do not use the service to make hiring, lending, or other employment-eligibility decisions about third parties.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
- The service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income, missed opportunities, or tax outcomes.
7. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
- You may stop using the service at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability) will survive termination.
8. Changes
- We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email to Pro users. Continued use after the changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Florida.
